This complex yet elegant Syrah comes from grapes sourced from the renowned Boushey Vineyard in the cool upper Yakima Valley (900-1200 feet) of Eastern Washington State. Syrah grapes are grown on a particular south facing slope characterized by good air drainage and cooler climate compared to other regions. It is richly flavored with dark plum and berry fruit, hints of dried lavender, and a soft finish of chocolate and dried figs. The owner, Dick Boushey, is one of the most reputable grower in Washington state, serving for years as a leader in Washington’s budding wine industry.
