Hand harvested grapes — 100 % destemmed
Grapes were frozen for 5 weeks at 5 degrees Farenheit and then pressed into a Champagne Press for over 2 and a half days to obtain a juice of an average of 38.8 degrees Brix. Fermented in for over two months, thus retaining all the freshness and varietal intensity.
Bottle aged 12 months. Released in May 2008.

Sourced from the selected site at Hauer of the Dauen Vineyard, Verve Janka sweet wine has an extraordinary depth of flavor that marks the finest Gewurztraminer fruit form the Willamette Valley appellation.
Janka wine displays a beautiful golden color, while offering aroma’s of honey, apricots, nectarine and an intense floral-perfume. In the mouth, this wine is sweet, round and yet balanced with its acidity and explodes with fruit flavors and a smooth lingering finish. This particular sweet wine will beneficiate from being poured chilled. Keep in the refrigerator, will remain fresh even after being opened for up to and beyond three weeks.
