80% of this Sonoma Coast blend is sourced from our closest vineyard to the Pacific ocean and is greatly influenced by cold fog. For added complexity and structure we used 20% of Carneros Pinot Noir fruit (Swan clone) in this Sonoma Coast blend. Harvested earlier than its Russian River counterpart, the Sonoma Coast blend expresses a cooler, brighter and more nervous version of Pinot Noir. On the nose, our 2004 offering is full of scents of raspberries, rose petals, cinnamon and tobacco. In spite of a voluptuous and viscous mouth feel, the wine does not lack balanced acidity and structured length.
